Basic Principles:
Together with our supplier of expanded metal sheets, we developed a comb shaped expanded metal, which is perfectly suitable for the recovering of fine gold. The gaps in the sheet does not look like diamonds, but like combs which gives every gap a small vertical riffle. Every riffle generates a vortex like the one you have at the regular riffles, but much smaller. But you get hundrets of vortices! Every flitter getting in contac with one of them, get into it and will be pushed into the underlaying miner's moss (do you use something else?). This expanded Metal is suitable for all Elvo, Elvolino and Universal sluices and for most of the market followers! Made out of aluminium, it is easy to cut if necessary. The durablility was often questioned, but convince yourself! Mine works fine for until today 8 years...
