Basic Principles:
This item is planned to be an extension, if you already own an Elvo sluice (Version Elvo II and newer) and if you want to extend your system with a rubber-only sluice. Because of the many queries, we now offer this extension to get an original Solo Sluice box, where you insert any combination of rubber mats you want. Together with your Elvo, you now have an 2 in 1 system.
Here are the highlights:
- The body is a laser cutted design, taken from the Elvo, and compatible to its funnel.
- Dimensions: 70cm x 30cm (Elvo III body: 90cm x 30cm)
- Dimensions of the insertable mats: 30cm x 70cm (although you might cut off some millimeters, if you want to seal corners with silicone etc.)
- Clamping concept was taken from the Elvo III, so in transport position, you max fixate the sluice to its funnel getting a very well transportable package.
- You may get the body also completely finished (glued and sealed), even with mats of other manufacturers or your own mat design.
Description of options:
For the inlay inside the sluice (the main recovery system), there are several options, too:
- No Inlay: you do not get any inlay for the body (independant what you coose for the funnel!)
- Riffel rubber mat, not glued and sealed: you will get a rubber mat with the dimensions 30cm x 70cm, but not glued and sealed.
- Riffel rubber mat, glued and sealed: We glue and seal the body with our own the fine riffle rubber mat.
- Broad riffle mat, not glued and sealed: you will get a broad riffle rubber mat with the dimensions 30cm x 70cm, but not glued and sealed.
- Broad rubber mat, glued and sealed: We glue and seal the body with our own the broad riffle rubber mat.
- rubber plate, not glued and sealed: you will get a rubber plate of 5mm thickness with the dimensions 30cm x 70cm, but not glued and sealed. This plate gives you the possiblilty to cut in any shape of riffle you want.
Remarks:
Gluing contains the following steps: first cleaning, grinding, second cleaning, gluing, sealing. Price for rubber is identical to the price of the bulk stock, so it makes no sense to order an extra piece of rubber, unless, you do the final cutting by yourself.
The solo sluice cannot be converted into an Elvo III! The frame will not fit in and there are no holes for the screws in it.
The body is sold seperately, so if you own an Elvo III, you do not have to buy an extra funnel, you can only buy the body and then you have two sluices.
Description of accessories:
The high quality broad riffles rubber mat out of NBR, hardness of 70 shore (approx.) we use for the inflow section in all our sluices, but it can also be used to cover the funnel or the whole sluice body. In the cross section, the measures can be taken from the picture below "Masse" (click on it to see the dimensions!). The back of the rubber is ribbed thus easy to glue with out any further ginding step. Attention! The riffles run perpendicular to the roll length, so the maximum length in one piece is 120cm (this is the roll width!), the maximum width for one piece is about 10m.

Hint:
Remark: The body cannot be transformed into an Elvo frame body, because it is too short and has no holes for the bolts and clamps. So the frame will not fit in and there are no riffels deliverable! Although it is suited very well to perform any customisations. Remember that the original body is not available as a spre part (since the production alsways delivers a full set of metal parts).
