Basics

This valve set includes a valve for 50mm HT pipes (complete with valve flaps), two additional spare flaps, an O-ring and the necessary screws made of stainless steel. In addition (not included), either the T-collector from our shop or a corresponding one is required Own construction based on 50mm HT pipes. Attention: this is intended as a replacement or extension kit for the sand pump! Whoever wants to build a sand pump himself needs two valve sets (1x inlet and 1x outlet valve)

Concept of the Goldblitz Sandpump

Basically, it is a matter of pumping finer material directly from the stream into a container or into a channel, using a continuous process. In contrast to this, in the normal use of the pump it is always worked in two steps: suction and emptying. The sand pump is omitted from the step "emptying" by the fact that the sucked-in material is conveyed into a container or a washing trough by means of a valve system. Pumps such as this are e.g. Under the product name "Gold'n'Sand" or "Gold and Sand". We have picked up this concept and thought it through. We call this concept "sandpump". This includes our hand pump, a T-collector and at least 2 valves for 50mm HT pipes. In addition, a 50mm hose is used to pump the pumped material into a distant tank or a launder.

Here are the features and advantages of our system "Sandpumpe":

• Maximum delivery is 37mm in the narrowest diameter. Additional attachment filters have not been proven. The system must immediately fail. It is better to carry out the screening after pumping (if necessary)
• Simple valve technology reduces jamming and can be repaired anywhere in the world (e.g., bicycle hose, tarp, plastic piece, etc.)
• Very affordable price through optimal integration into existing systems and techniques.
• Virtually no more jamming with 4-valve technology (optional, see below)
• By expanding with 50mm tubing, the material can be pumped into a distant bucket or chute.
• Stainless steel screws.
• Also suitable as a bilge pump, as very tight (I pump the children always the cover of the sandbox empty).

In the case of a system consisting of one valve each on the suction side and the pressure side, sharp-edged stones with unfavorable geometries (long and narrow) must remain stuck in the valve and obstruct the function at the following stroke. Anyone who is troubled by local steingometrics or who is looking for a special construction is taking the "Vierventiler" Here, a valve can just as easily jam, but a further series-connected valve ensures that the function is maintained. Pumping pleasure almost without downtime or for a particularly large lifting area! However, the two-pounder should be sufficient in 90% of cases.

In the large image of the single seal, an arrow points to two centering nipples. These should be removed after installation with a sharp knife.

The valve linings can be different than seen on the pictures! I refresh the pictures at times. The current seals are smooth on both sides, 3mm thick and have a fabric insert.
